Panama Wins Another Gold!

Panama got awarded another Gold, this time at the 2008 Water Innovation Awards for Panama Blue a Natura Spring Water Bottled at the source for being the Best Bottle in PET awarded by the Innovation in the global packaged water industry which was celebrated last night in the spa town of Wiesbaden near Frankfurt, Germany.

The Gold winner of the Best Bottle in PET was Panama Blue from Panama Springs, which used an elegantly shaped one-litre format that takes visual cues from contemporary wine bottles.

Designed by Rudy Estripeaut of Creative Talents Agency and Jaime Ortiz of Panama Springs the bottle has very aesthetic appeal and very unique and elegant shape.

Panama Introduces New Geographical Maps Portal

Panama now has a geographical maps portal where governmental and private entities can count on geographical information. This will help the private sector as well as the general public in planning construction and social projects. The portal can be located at http://www.ignpanama.gob.pa inside the section called SIGNAL. Eventhought it still seems to be under construction it promises to be a very useful site in locating panama maps and geographical information.
